Rotary Club of East Hartford Charitable Fund
The Rotary Club of East Hartford Charitable Fund is established as a
certified non-profit to raise money to benefit local, regional, and
international programs supported by our Club.
Programs supported have recently included an East Hartford Public
Library Bookmobile, "Coats for Kids" to provide new winter coats for
under-privileged children, computers for local schools, and a major
clean water project in Guatemala. We also provide funding to the East
Hartford High School Academy of Finance, the School-Business
Partnership Program, and the annual Senior Citizens' Prom.
There are two annual fundraisers put on by Rotary, a Duck Race and a
Golf Tournament. Approximately $40,000 is raised each year through
Club members’ efforts. Private donations are also made to the Fund
as memorial contributions or to celebrate a life event such as a
birthday or anniversary.
Anyone can make a donation at any time by writing a check payable to
the Rotary Club of East Hartford Charitable Fund and mailing it to
P.O. Box 380035, East Hartford, CT 06138-0035.
