Rotary Club of East Hartford 34th ANNUAL ROTARY INVITATIONAL GOLF TOURNMENT Manchester Country Club Monday, September 20, 2021
Golf Committee met Tuesday August 3 at noon at Evergreen
Present were Ruth Sheehan Bill Saunders, Jack Martin, George Schoen, Marc Glass, Bob Buettner, Ceil Collins, Jack Sayre,
Guests Alex Wyse, Peter Klock
Received Hole Sponsorship from Evergreen They provided signage
George reported we now also have 5 tee sponsors, 1 corporate sponsor, 1 cart sponsor and a few foursomes .
Reiterated we need to push for signups from players Registration is on web site,
Members are encouraged to get gift certificates .and tee sponsors
Women's club will provide volunteers to do registrations and raffle tickets on the day of the tournament. and provide spotters for closest to pin.
Jack Martin volunteered to do this also
Manchester City Club will allow EHRC to have beer carts and provide beverages, but the country club will provide drivers .
George will confirm menu with the caterer .
Discussed Swag bags bas but it is costly and decided not to have them unless items are donated .
Peggy Schoen is doing spreadsheet of players, sponsors , etc.
Next meeting set for August 17 at noon at Evergreen
