Another rainy day for our Rotary Meeting on Goodwin’s campus.
Attendees today were Peter, Sue, George, Anwar, Marc, Dan F., Hope, Ceil, Rob, Alex, Guy, Jack S., Pat, John, Jim and Neal. Our guest today was Charlie Shine whose nomination is progressing.
Marc, who stood in for Bob today, rang the bell at 12 Noon and called the meeting to order. Marc also led the Pledge of Allegiance and the 4 Way Test.
Anwar gave the invocation.

- Board Meeting is Tuesday, April 9 at Evergreen, 6 PM. Golf meeting will be held after the Board Meeting.
- Tri State District Conference will be held May 3-5, Wellsworth Hotel, Stockbridge, MA.
- Paul Harris Dinner, May 15, Wethersfield Country Club.
- EH Memorial Day Parade, May 27.
- Installation Dinner, June 26, Wethersfield Country Club.
Lunch today was hamburger pizza, meatball and tuna grinders and Anwar’s salad.

- Ruth continues to recuperate at home.
- Anwar’s wife has been declared cancer free.
- Dan L. has another operation upcoming.
No speaker today. Sue passed out our new Rotary brochure and thanked Ceil for all her assistance. Peter discussed a NYT story on the upcoming eclipse and passed out free eclipse glasses. General discussion on the Primary today. Sue will be asking for a $300 donation from our Board for the EH Latina Pageant. Alex discussed the Pollinator Garden. Parking area and sites for benches are graded. Pads for benches will be installed in May. EH Beautification Committee may be helping with flowers. Plans were also discussed for the June Nineteenth celebration in EH.
