Cloudy and chilly at Goodwin for our Rotary Meeting today.  Attendees were Marc, Bob, Jack, Ceil, George, Dan, Hope, Guy, Sue, Peter, Ray, Charlie, John, Anwar and Neal.  We were also delighted to welcome back Maura Callahan after a long health battle.  President Rob joined us via Zoom.   No guests today.

Marc rang the bell at 12 Noon.  Rob called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance and Four Way Test.  Peter gave the invocation.

Lunch from First & Last was a delicious spread of pasta, pizza and an interesting chicken dish.

No program today.

No winners for our Trivia game.   Guy won the pull for our Raffle but the Ace of Spades was hidden on the bottom on the deck.

Rob talked about a program for Rick Lawrence and his amazing water project in Guatamala and our continuing support for him and Sue and Peter’s Shelter box program.  Members voted for $1000 for Shelter Box.

Rob asked everyone to think about possible Rotary Fundraisers.  Peter suggested another Duck Race.  Need to check if the ducks are stored at the Ridge.   Could we use the Boy Scouts to assist with cleaning?  He also suggested running the Raffle again.  Hope suggested Plant Sales.  Possible support programs for the Program for Hunger in East Hartford in the Fall.  Also mentioned was the Memorial Day Parade with the Rotary Tent.

Bob asked everyone to keep the Raffle Prizes coming in for our Golf Tournament.  Every member should contribute a prize or cash.
