Dean Cornelio

Dean Cornelio is a career counselor with the Citizen Soldier for Life program, where he assists servicemen, women, and families with resumes, cover letters, interviewing skills, employment opportunities, budget development, and individual case management to ensure they have the fundamental skills necessary to obtain and sustain a fulfilling civilian career. Mr. Cornelio has a background in education and sports journalism. He was a school counselor with Guilford and Stafford Public Schools for six years and previously spent 12 years as an editor with ESPN.com. He has a passion for assisting others with college and career development. In addition, Dean is an independent business owner, works event security, and does scorekeeping on the side. He currently resides here in East Hartford with his girlfriend, Thea, and their rescue dog, Beau.
